When should I book?
As soon as possible! Some couples book up to 24 months in advance.
Where are you located? Do you charge travel fees?
I'm located in Akron, Ohio. I travel up to 50 miles outside of Akron for no additional charge! But I am open to travel ANYWHERE!
How many photos can I expect to receive from my wedding day?
I deliver about 60-100 photos per hour, so if you choose to have me there for 10 hours, you can expect at least 600 photos! You may think "what do I need with all of these pictures?". I believe the best part of looking back at your wedding day is seeing how your photos tell a story from beginning to end. My goal is to capture all of the angles, poses, and special moments that I possibly can and I don't want to keep them to myself- I want you to enjoy them all too!
What if we don't need an engagement session?
While you may have already had an engagement session done, have one booked with another photographer, or don't think you need one, engagement sessions are included in all of my packages and they are so, so important to my process. Not only do they give you the chance to see how I work and make sure I'm the best fit for you, they are the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other before I follow you around on the biggest day of your life!
HELP. I am not photogenic at all.
No worries, I've got you covered! My style is a mix of classic, posed portraits (I will tell you how to stand and what to do with your hands and faces) and real life, candids (that I often get by using fun games and prompts that result in genuine laughs and smiles, or just catching you in the moment)
What happens if our engagement session gets rained out?
I keep a number of backup dates open in each month in case of bad weather, and there is no fee to reschedule to a new date if there's inclement weather (rain, freezing temps, extremely overcast, etc.). Ohio weather is notoriously unpredictable and changes very quickly, so I typically wait to call off a session until that morning (or the evening before if you are scheduled for a morning session).
What kind of gear do you use? Do you have back up equipment?
I have two Nikon D750 camera bodies and my favorite lens to use for weddings are my 35mm, 85mm, & 24-70mm. My camera also has dual SD card slots, so I always have two memory cards with all of your images. Then when I get home from your wedding, I back those memory cards up to two hard drives and a cloud service to ensure your images are safe!
Can I print photos myself or buy prints from you?
Yes, & yes! In addition to your online gallery, you will receive a print release that gives you rights and permissions to print your photos. However, I recommend purchasing prints and products from me to ensure quality. I use a professional photo print lab that is exclusive to photographers. And it's so easy to purchase prints and products straight from your gallery!
